Today is the big day: the new FAFSA is here. If you’re going to file it, here’s a quick video with some tactics you can employ to reduce your Student Aid Index and potentially get lots more financial aid.
It’s not necessary to file the FAFSA right away– especially not this year. This year, FAFSA submissions will not be forwarded to colleges until late January. That means you have some time to plan and reduce your Student Aid Index. So rather than sitting in front of your computer waiting for the FAFSA to load, get out and enjoy the season.
