  1. I know someone who attended BC on a full ride scholarship. She had to maintain a 3.8 GPA to maintain the scholarship. She was in the engineering program and said the pressure was immense.
    She succeeded and managed to get a great education at a great school and has had a great career.
    So many people don’t read even the bold print on these forms. You should always give these award letters a once over at the very least.
    As far as dead lines, if you meet the deadline you are probably too late.

    1. Agreed. Scholarships are wonderful, but most have some strings attached. And when the scholarship is the deciding factor for a school, you absolutely must understand every qualification for renewal.
